Belle Vue Racers are a local community running club based at Sportcity, (next to Manchester City’s football ground) in Beswick, East Manchester.
Established in 1989, we are UK Athletics-affiliated and take part in many races, both local and further afield; on road, trails, cross-country and fell. Belle Vue are a friendly club, no pressure just plenty of encouragement. We pride ourselves on being welcoming and supportive, our goal is to make running fun!
We hold two regular weekly sessions run by qualified coaches:
- Thursdays – 7pm: The outdoor track at Sportcity for speed sessions.
- Tuesdays – 6.45pm: at Heaton Mersey Bowl (next to the junction of Didsbury Road and Station Road) for endurance, intervals and hills sessions.
In addition we regularly meet up informally to run together including at local Parkruns.
