The Podcast By Runners, For Runners

Local Runners Podcast is to celebrate and shine a light on running talent in the North West of England and beyond. We have previous guests from Gold Medal Olympians like Georgia Taylor-Brown, 1500m Gold winner Jake Wightman, to self proclaimed “mid-pack runners” and those who have just finished a couch to 5k. We want to ensure that runners of all abilities are catered for and have a chance to share their stories.

The podcast started in 2021 after a WhatsApp group of local runners spoke about favourite podcasts, and then we suggested starting our own podcast. The group consisted of Sale Harriers, East Cheshire Harriers, Altrincham AC, & Salford Harriers.
